Council of War

The news for information for the false rumours of Mikreed allying with the rival family should both families to the grass root level.
Tensions and stress level went towards extreme and for another time in history the Alphas were under scrutiny to take an action.
Similar Origins and backgrounds have always resulted in similar mindset and decision making ability. This case was no different.
After repeated discussions both Alphas read the point where they thought a meeting, a congregation, would be really handy. Traditional Scrolls were brought back once again and official invitees were spent.
Both  Alphas prepared for the meeting in somewhere deep within were very excited to meet their long lost friend.
The faith and kinship they had was so strong that sanctuaries were just not enough to break it completely.
Both Alphas said down calmly but were really tensed out as they thought that the other one possessed the Mikreed  and was in a hunt to kill the alternate race.
They asked to get some privacy and were cleared strangely by their companions but granted their wish.
Zachary begin the speech he practiced on his way to the fort,
"A war is really destructive and disastrous, for the amount of lives lost is far too much for any side to win.
You needed by an inch but that's not winning. It is surviving."
Haldane expressed a fact to avert the war that stood ahead and somewhere also expressed his fear of the Mikreed.
Parrish took out the hidden, deep, poetic meaning out of it and considered it as a warning to the Wizards that they do not have any chance of survival against the Mikreed.
He replied, "A Mikreed is far too powerful and nasty. And I mean for both of us and both of our kinds. There is no spell mentioned about controlling a Mikreed, neither in reality nor in any fairy tale. That is a statement in itself about the dangers it holds for both its enemy and master."
The context of the statement was again misjudged by an old friend.
Zachary stood up and joined Parrish near the shelf and looked aiman the eye for just a moment.
There were trust in both of their eyes along with an unknown fear.
Parrish followed up the pause, "I don't think a lot needs to be said"
Zachary took out his pen and a scroll of his own and signed the Treaty and offered it to Parrish who did the same.
Alphas sweared in the name of the moon and the sun and departed. This was war time, still being in each others company felt like good old times.
However, war, pressure, and selfishness proved its ability yet again when two friends whose kinship couldn't be separated by centuries distrusted and doubted each others vows.
