Aftermath
The Curse did not lay down any guidelines regarding the aftermath of the Prophecy.
There was not a sound to be heard from an area that had maximum of its residents chatting and giggling.

The Curse killed not only the souls but the happiness and brightness of the village.
The trio of the Elders , who weren't affected by the Curse as they were rewarded for atleast trying. Still, the egos were hurt down deep. The command of the Elders were ignored and their wisdom disrespected.
The Elders decided to punish the two responsible for this.
An Assembly was called out by the Elders inviting all of the villagers. The official reason was to have some order amidst the chaos but the plans hidden within were antonymous.
Shelton began, "Ladies & Gentlemen, My name is Shelton and I am one of the Elders of the modern era. I propose infront of you a thought to renovate life after the Curse."
Some things are understood without being said. The reaction of the listeners demanded continuation.
"After hours and days of debates among ourselves we have reached a conclusion that to maintain peace and order. There must be only one leader of both the races, there must be only one True Alpha."
Discussions and gossips began as the controversial speech paused.
The Alphas were graced by glances from every corner of the Assembly.
They stole looks of each other in this awkward state of mind.
"My friends, a ship has only one captain cause anymore will only cause conflicts and no directional movements. One leader should be chosen out of both of our Alphas.
"Will he be" someone from the crowd screemed "one from the vampires or wizards?"
Similar questions were put up leading to violence and disbanding of the Assembly.
The smirks on the Elder's faces and anger on the crowd's indicated the slow route to success.

This became the talk of the town as everyone engaged themselves in choosing, or atleast trying to choose a leader.
Funny how an idea to unite further divided them among the Haldanes and Macabre's.
Among the violence and rule breaking a sense of rivalry erupted among the two groups. Addressing the issue both Alphas came together to unite but personal agendas and personal family matters among supporters did not allowed any unison.
Devilish thoughts and false statements were slowly instilled ultimately breaking the bond of friendship and making a new one of rivalship.
The Elders blew a wind and the residents made it a storm.
Their theory was quite simple:
Death is inevitable
Still immortality is achievable.
Sow the seeds of hate
Fools make sure your name never follows the term 'late'.
