Revelations (prose) I | The First Spark |

The existence of life was divided among the three races- Wizards, Vampires, and Shuttlers.

The Wizarding family , rather the Original Wizarding Family  goes by the name of Macabre and their existence can be traced back to time immemorial.

The Vampires are the demonic creatures known by the name of Haldanes who have been believed to be around for the last few hundred years. There is a controversy over the belief of origin of Vampires cause many believe that both the supernatural creatures have a common origin.

Shuttlers are the most intelligent species who don't have any supernatural power but have received an odd gift referred to by our ancestors as "brain". Strange term!

The Wizarding world shook to its root due to a rumour spread on the street. The news reached the Macabre's , the magical family in absolutely no time.

Parrish Macabre one of the elders of the family did not found any humour and instructed his sources to finalise the word and reach him for absolution.

An informer, Trevino belonging to the shuttler race which fed on controversy and menace dared to bring in the news which posed a threat to the well being of entire living existence.

Parrish knew Trevino personally well enough to know that he won't lie on an issue as serious as this.

Trevino addressed the guards, "Sir, Do you want to be a part of the huge collateral of this war? Yes, then stay but if you don't I prefer you give us a minute."

He turned towards the elder of the Macabre Family and began, "Sir, You don't want more people to know about this than who already know"

"Before you begin, I want you to know that each & every word you utter must be absolute truth cause if I get an impression of you lying, I assure you your life will be under scrutiny."

"I understand the delicacy, Sir. Trust me" he continued "the rumour on the street is that a girl, who supposedly resided in Southern Heed has been captured by the Haldanes."

Parrish exhaled anger out .

"She is rumoured to have powers of both the races... a Hybrid" Trevino stammered.

Parrish gazed at Trevino in horror. The emotions and expressions present on his face vanished and he became pale.

"The horrific part is yet to come" says Trevino after catching a glance of Parrish "The rumour goes that the Haldanes have been manipulating that girl for quite some time now. They blame you for the death of her parents in the Great War of Sade."

The Great War of Sade was one of the two wars between Wizards and Vampires, the other being The War of Gale . The latter was the most violent in all of history killing about a thousand from each side (half of population at the time) resulting in a peace treaty, which didn't last for long.

"She happens to be a living map to the dagger" Trevino exclaimed.

Parrish screamed, "Trevino, are you out of your mind?"

Trevino paused for a second, yet he did not seemed terrified and continued "Sir, Even if you kill me my tongue won't fade because every word I utter is truth. It is believed that the ancestors have sent the girl to find out which race is more powerful and able to enjoy the ultimate victory.

"And one last thing" he stood up to add more effectiveness "If the girl kills any supernatural being that soul won't find peace in all in all of Universe even with the dagger and will continue to reside in the penitentiary forever."

"Mikreed, you say?" confirmed Parrish.

Mikreed is believed to be the most powerful creature in all of the globe. There has been multiple prophecies, rumours regarding their existence but so far, in the time period we are living, they all have appeared to be false.

Will this time be different?

"I can assure you that" replied Trevino.

Parrish stood up and went as close to Trevino as supernaturally possible and could hear every single sound of different mechanism in his body.

"I ask you once again, are you sure?"

"And I tell you once again, as sure as I am of the presence of The Moon and The Sun I am sure of the fact that the girl is THE ONE!!!"
